Saturday, July 4th at 11:30am!
We’ll kick things off with our beloved
Children’s Bike Parade around the lake
first, where creativity, streamers, and
training wheels all shine equally. Whether
your little rider rolls in stars, stripes, or
full-on bald-eagle glam, we can’t wait to
cheer them on. And after the parade, the
real American feasting begins.
The HOA will be serving hot
dogs and hamburgers, grilled to
perfection and ready for your
favorite toppings!
Food starts serving at 12pm.
We ask each household to bring a
covered dish—appetizer, side dish, or
dessert—so we can build the most
glorious potluck buffet this side of 1776.
The signup sheets are up now at the clubhouse on the bulletin board, so let us know what you are
bringing so we won't have way too many Coleslaws at the big buffet!
And because no SCS celebration is complete without a little friendly chaos, we’ll have family games, activities,
and a few surprises tucked up our patriotic sleeves. Expect laughter. Expect competition. Expect at least one
neighbor to take the water-balloon toss way too seriously.
This event is open to all SCS residents, so bring your family, your appetite, and your best red-white-and-blue
look and spirit

There’s something truly special about seeing little hands busy with crafts, laughter echoing through the clubhouse, and neighbors coming together over cocoa and music. That’s exactly what the new Kids’ Holiday Craft & Play Sundays are all about — building connection and commun
A new way to play, create, and connect at South Coast Shores!
There’s something truly special about seeing little hands busy with crafts, laughter echoing through the clubhouse, and neighbors coming together over cocoa and music. That’s exactly what the new Kids’ Holiday Craft & Play Sundays are all about — building connection and community through joyful, simple moments.
This fun new trial program invites families, grandparents, parents, and relatives to come together for two festive afternoons of creativity, play, and seasonal celebration right here at South Coast Shores.
First Gathering: November 16th — Fall Craft & Play Day
Step into the season with a heartwarming afternoon of crafting and connection. Kids can dive into a fun seasonal craft, enjoy story time, blow bubbles, draw with chalk, and dance to cheerful tunes — while parents relax, chat, and enjoy snacks together. It’s a perfect way to slow down and savor the cozy autumn spirit with neighbors and friends.
Second Gathering: December 7th — Holiday Craft & Cookie Day
Get ready for a sweet, memory-making afternoon of cookie decorating, ornament crafts, cocoa sipping, and festive fun! The clubhouse will be buzzing with music, laughter, and that special kind of holiday magic that only happens when families come together to celebrate the season.

Dates: November 16th & December 7th
Time: 2:00–4:00 PM
Location: SCS HOA Clubhouse
Cost: Free for SCS residents and their relatives
Relatives must attend the event with their child.
Activities geared toward 3 to 11 year olds, but all ages welcome.

These monthly “Craft & Play” gatherings are a wonderful way to help children create, share, and explore — while adults enjoy conversation and connection with neighbors. Think of it as a simple, screen-free Sunday afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and community spirit.
Donations and volunteers are always welcome — whether you’d like to bring treats, help with setup, or simply join the fun.
